Keanu Reeves has cattle from heaven. In addition to being successful in film for decades, and especially in recent years thanks to the action saga ‘John Wick’, he is one of the most beloved actors in Hollywood. Reeves has a reputation for being a good guy and every anecdote we can think of about him confirms it.
The latest took place last weekend in the UK when The “Matrix” performer appeared by surprise at James and Nikki Roadnight’s wedding in Northamptonshire, England. It was all a matter of luck. The couple had just got married and were celebrating their union with loved ones. It was then that the boy found out that Reeves was staying in the same hotel and came up with the idea.
The bride told Newsweek how Reeves ended up as an impromptu guest at her wedding: “My husband saw him in the bar area. He told him we were just married and invited him over [al banquete] say hello and have a drink with us if you feel like it. He was very nice and said he would come over later. We didn’t know if he would do it or not, but it was great that my husband was able to talk to him.”.

After a while someone informed him “a very special guest” he was looking for her, and it turned out that it was Reeves, who had accepted James’s invitation. “It was very emotional”Nikki continues. “I went to say hello, introduced myself and offered him a drink, but he said no because he had a very long flight and wouldn’t stay long. But he was very nice and friendly and congratulated us on our wedding”.
However, Reeves stayed and mingled with those in attendance for a while. “He was very kind to take pictures and our photographer took some too”adds the bride. “Then he went out of his way to talk to our guests and take more photos.” Nikki shared some of them on Twitter, where she too one of them was put with the actor as a profile picture, instead of one with her husband, as is logical. In the images we see the actor with the wedding, smiling and chatting with the bride. A being of light as usual, let’s go.

Reeves has always had a great reputation on and off the screen for his kindness and skill with people, and this isn’t by far the first such anecdote surrounding the actor, like that time he got out of the car in Louisiana to leave a message on a welcome sign he was left with upon his arrival from filming ‘Bill & Ted Face The Music’ or when the plane he was traveling on from San Francisco to Los Angeles was forced to do a emergency landing and decided to take the bus arranged by the airline to reach his destination together with the rest of the passengers, acting as a leader and animating the trip with music and an impromptu tour guide on the spot. Not all heroes wear a coat.
Reeves will be back in theaters March 24, 2023 with “John Wick 4”. Last year he returned to Neo’s skin in “Matrix Resurrections” and recently voiced Batman in the animated film “DC League of Superpets”.
