
A24 has released a trailer for an upcoming movie titled The inspection, which is a biographical drama about a young gay black man who joins the Marines to prove himself. The film is the protagonist Jeremy Pope And Gabriele Unione and as you will see, they seem to give great performances.
Here is the synopsis of the film:
In Elegance Bratton’s deeply moving film inspired by his own story, a young gay black man, rejected by his mother and with few options for his future, decides to enlist in the Marines, doing everything he can to succeed in a system that he would cast him apart. But even as he fights ingrained prejudices and grueling core training routines, he finds unexpected camaraderie, strength and support in this new community, giving him a sweaty sense of belonging that will shape his identity and change his life forever. .
The inspection is written and directed by Bratton elegance, whose real-life story inspired the film. The film is also the protagonist Raul Castillo (We the Animals), McCaul Lombardi (American honey), Aaron Dominguez, Eman Esfandi, Aubrey Joseph (Cloak and dagger), Andrea KaiAnd Bokeem Woodbine (Fargo).
The film will hit theaters on November 18th.
