I wasn’t given the opportunity to watch the first two episodes alone, but reading everyone else’s reactions to the show is exciting me even more for what this series will offer! I’ve been thrilled with the show before, but seeing all of these rave reviews is pretty awesome. I just hope the series really lives up to the hype.
Here’s what some people say about the show. Read the reactions and let us know what you think!
The series will debut on Prime Video on September 2, 2022.
The Rings of Power (first 2 eps) is better than the marketing material would have you believe, but it has work to do to make the story exciting. It looks huge and sets up the factions well, but the pace is off. The Dwarves are already cooler than in The Hobbit! #The rings of power pic.twitter.com/crqr3wLCSh

I saw the first 2 episodes of #The rings of power and it’s a concentrate of fiction that reaffirms why I love LOTR and the kind of world-building it empowers and inspires. Plus, tough women. I can’t forget them! ❤️ @LOTRonPrime @PrimeVideo pic.twitter.com/8ss0ixNb3n

Okay so the first two episodes of #Lord of the Rings #RingsofPower they are a spectacular sight to behold. Scale, scope, ambition and grandeur are unrivaled on TV. It also has the laborious task of introducing so much necessary world building that it takes a while to take flight.

Amazon is new #Lord of the Rings series #The rings of power it’s awesome. The huge budget comes off the screen and * looks * like something that would fit Jackson’s films. But even with such a vast world, it’s never overwhelming and keeps you focused.

Two episodes of #The rings of power in and … so far, so good! The production value is quite substantial. One breathtaking view after another, and the level of detail in the costume and set design is something else. As for the story / characters … pic.twitter.com/n2HeKHdKPM

Yes, I saw the first two episodes of THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER. So far, it’s incredibly fun and promising, but most of all gorgeous. Watch on the largest screen you can. My only caveat is that I can easily see how the storyline could fall apart beyond Ep 2 or totally rule pic.twitter.com/c6pwFej8nC

The Lord of the Rings: #The rings of power immediately captured my imagination with captivating stories and characters in a Middle-earth that is both familiar and new.
The story / setting is so dense, however, the pace in EPs 1 and 2 is pretty slow, but it definitely leaves you wanting more. pic.twitter.com/nJJSHFMaLo

#TheRingsofPower is definitely a promising return to Middle-earth based on the first few episodes. Stunning visuals, compelling characters, and a magnetic track in Morfydd Clark’s Galadriel, who refuses to give up on the widely held belief that Sauron is defeated. Can’t wait for more. pic.twitter.com/XNf9Xie0Qm

I saw the first 2 episodes of #The rings of power. Yes, it’s as visually stunning as the trailer promises.
It also sets the stage well for the clearly epic tale heading our way. I liked some characters / storylines more than others, but am passionate and ready for others#The Lord of the Rings
