Netflix has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming dark comedy film White noisewhich derives from writer and director Noah Baumbach (Marriage story, Greenberg). The film is based on Don De Lillois the 1985 satirical novel of the same name, and it reads Adam Driver And Greta Gerwig.
The story centers on a family whose worldly life is turned upside down when they face an apocalyptic event. Here is the synopsis:
Both hilarious and horrifying, lyrical and absurd, ordinary and apocalyptic, White Noise stages the attempts of a contemporary American family to deal with the mundane conflicts of everyday life while grappling with the universal mysteries of love, death and of the possibility of happiness in an uncertain world.
It looks like it could be a great movie and it sure tells an interesting story. Joining Driver and Gerwig are Don Cheadle, Raffey Cassidy, Sam Nivola, May Nivola, Lars Eidinger, Andre BeniaminoAnd Jodie Turner-Smith.
There is no release date for the film yet, but rumor has it that it will come soon.
