Amazon Prime Video has released the first trailer for the upcoming horror thriller Goodnight Momwhich is a remake of the 2014 Austrian film by Veronica Franz And Severin Fiala. This new version of the film was directed by Matt Sobel (Take me to the river) from a script written by Kyle Warrenand stars Noemi Watt.
In Goodnight Mom“When twin brothers (Cameron And Nicola Crovetti) arrive at their mother’s (Watts) country house to discover her face covered in bandages – the result, she explains, of a recent cosmetic surgery – they immediately sense that something is not right. She sets strange new house rules, she smokes in her bathroom and sneaks up on a drawing they gave her, things their loving mother would never do.
“As his behavior becomes more and more bizarre and erratic, a horrible thought takes root in the minds of the boys: the deep suspicion that the woman under the gauze, who is preparing their food and sleeping in the next room, is not their mother at all. . “
I haven’t seen the original movie, but it seems to tell a creepy and crazy story. The directors of the original film are producing the remake and I’m interested in trying it out!
The film is also the protagonist Jeremy Bob (The intruder), Crystal Lucas-Perry (Mimesi Nosferatu), And Pietro Hermann (Minor). Goodnight Mom arrives on Amazon Prime Video on September 16, 2022.
