George Miller is about to premiere in Spain (precisely on 9 September) his new film, ‘Three Thousand Years Awaiting You’, which premiered at the latest Cannes Film Festival. However, the Australian director is currently immersed in filming the new chapter of his “Mad Max” saga. “Furiosa” continues to record in Sydney (Australia) and, of course, photos from the set continue to leak that allow us to take a new look at the looks that the characters of this prequel will wear.
The truth is that it is not the first time that images have leaked, both of the protagonists and of the filming location. As early as June we were able to see some of the vehicles and sets that would appear in the film. And, as for the characters, we saw Anya Taylor-Joy’s Furiosa look, a younger version of the post-apocalyptic warrior previously played by Charlize Theron, and that of Chris Hemsworth, who would play a young Immortan Joe.
In those first leaked photos of the Marvel actor, we saw the peculiar red beard populating his face, something we’re used to in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but in blonde. However, the new images (via Dailymail) reveal a more overloaded and striking look. Hemsworth keeps his beard prominent, albeit grayer this time (not strange, as the director has already indicated that the tape will cover 15 years), but what stands out is the prosthetic nose and the new outfit: an open jacket full of bullets.

The rest of the “Furiosa” cast consists of Tom Burke, Angus Sampson and Nathan Jones. According to the leaked photos, Miller’s new film, who co-wrote the script with Nick Lathouris, will likely be quite similar in terms of scenography to its predecessor, ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’. Plus, it already has an official synopsis focusing on the kidnapping of its protagonist: “As the world collapses, young Furiosa is kidnapped from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by Warlord Dementus. As they travel through the Wasteland, they stumble upon the Citadel, presided over by Immortan. Joe As the two tyrants fight for dominance in the area, Furiosa must survive many trials as she searches for a way to find her way home. “.
The whole family
As in the case of “Thor: Love and Thunder”, in which both Taika Waititi and Christian Bale and Hemsworth himself included their family in the cast, “Furiosa” will also feature the Hemsworth family: Elsa Pataky, her three children shared with the actor and her father, Craig Hemsworth. All of them are characterized by being part of a movie that would be released in theaters in 2024.
