Movies and series that fans hated and filled with negative ratings – Netflix (courtesy)
It is increasingly common to see fans outraged by a work, even when it hasn’t even been released. And the reasons range from some controversy surrounding the actors, or more commonly, something that didn’t seem to them to be part of the plot. These are the movies and series that fans have filled with negative ratings.
Captain Marvel
Although Brie Larson was more accepted in the MCU after the premiere of “Avengers: Endgame”, the fact that she was confirmed as the star of “Captain Marvel” was not very well accepted. The first solo film of a superheroine at the UCM was the victim of the image of her protagonist on social networks, which according to some fans was “misandro”.
She-Hulk: lawyer
Things aren’t much different for the most recent Marvel series on Disney +, as the story of a solo superhero has generated controversy since its reveal. Many users have given negative ratings to ‘She-Hulk: lawyer’on several pages, even on IMDb his highest grades are just one star.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi
If the first two films of the JJ Abrahams trilogy in the George Lucas universe had already generated divergent opinions among fans, it was’Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ the one who infuriated his followers. Although some argue that it is the most original of all, the most conservative have claimed to have ruined the franchise with their “progressive” propaganda.
Eternal
Unfortunately, Marvel has many examples of this “review bombing” and even before it hit theaters, fans full of bad scores a ‘Eternal’, which now has one of the highest ratings of any MCU movie and series, even when accused of “forced inclusion”.
ghost Buster
Leaving the field of superheroes, this time around, ‘Ghostbusters’, the female version of one of the most popular teams in Hollywood cinema, did not really appeal to fans of the original films. And Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones have suffered the consequences of a negative reaction on social networks.
Bridgerton
Incredible as it may seem, one of the most acclaimed and popular historical series in the Netflix catalog like “Bridgerton” was also hated by fans before reaching the platform. Now, the story starring Regé Jean Page is one of the most watched in the history of the great N.
