One of the best parts of the Disney + vision of success Star Wars series The Mandalorian is seeing cameos appear during the show. We’ve seen some fantastic actors, both of whom we know Star Wars tradition and not, including Bill Burr, Matt Lanter, Richard Ayoade, Jason Sudeikis, Timoteo Olifante, Michael BiehnAnd Sasha Banksas well as the original Jango Fett, Temuera Morrisonand Luke Skywalker himself, Marco Hamill.
Before each season, cameos are mostly kept under wraps, but in a recent interview with Weekly entertainmentshowrunner Jon Favreau And Dave Filoni asked who would most like to have a guest star and they said Giorgio Luca! That’s right, the creator of Star Wars, himself. EW reports:
“I tell you, we were lucky enough,” Favreau explained. “Fortuna”, added Filoni. “We have everyone from Mark Hamill to Werner Herzog,” Favreau added. “Amy Sedaris,” said Filoni. “But now it’s just a Star Wars fabric. Like she has no idea and now she’s in it, which I love because it’s awesome.” It was then that Favreau intervened with the final answer: “George,” he said with a laugh. “George Lucas. It would be the best cameo.” Filoni suggested: “He should be Baron Papanoida’s son or something. I don’t know, I wouldn’t even speculate on it. It’s hard for me to imagine what that day would be like.” Favreau added, “Well, he was on set when Dave was directing, so I love watching Dave and George together.”
I think it would be great to see George Lucas appear somehow The Mandalorian! Who would you like to see him play? You can watch the full interview below:
