Apple has unveiled the first trailer for a wonderful new documentary film titled Sidneywhich honors the legacy of the legendary actor, director and activist Sidney Poitier.
Poitier lived an incredible and inspiring life and this revealing documentary will tell his story and offer insights to help us better understand him and the kind of person he was. The document features spontaneous interviews with Denzel Washington, Halle Berry, Robert Redford, Lenny Kravitz, Barbra Streisand, Spike Lee and many others.
The film is produced by Oprah Winfrey And Derik Murray, in close collaboration with the Poitier family. The film was directed by the Oscar nominee Reginald Hudlin (Marshall).
Sidney will premiere on Apple TV + on September 23, 2022.
