According to the FBI report, the gun “you couldn’t shoot without pulling the trigger”so that the actor had to activate the gun mechanism which he thought was just a prop. This is the conclusion reached after the accidental discharge tests with the same model of revolver involved in the accident. All this is gathered in an analysis that the investigators of the case were waiting to evaluate the possible accusations that Baldwin could have faced.
