This Friday, Inu-Oh will be released in theaters in the United States. To celebrate, Milan Records released the original soundtrack of the film. The soundtrack includes the instrumental score and original vocal tracks composed by Otomo Yoshihide. The film aims to mix classic Japanese dance theater with glam-rock, so it should be a fun listen. The vocals for the songs were performed by Avu-chan And Mirai Moriyami. You can listen to the Inu-Oh soundtrack now in your favorite outlet. The anime film is directed by Masaki Yuasa.

Born to an esteemed family, Inu-oh is plagued by an ancient curse that has left him on the fringes of society. When he meets blind musician Tomona, a young biwa priest obsessed with his past, Inu-oh discovers an endearing ability to dance. The couple quickly become inseparable business partners and friends as the crowds pour in to their electric and extraordinary gigs. But when those in power threaten to disband the band, Inu-oh and Tomona must dance and sing to discover the truth behind their creative gifts.

In related news, Japanese band QUEEN BEE released a new song called “Inu-Hime”. The song was written and performed by Avu-chan who voices the titular Inu-Oh. He said he was directly inspired by his work on him Inu-Ohthe song is really fun and the accompanying music video features Kenjiro Tsuda who voices Inu-Oh’s father in the film.
