Stephen King’s terrifying book “The Regulators” is getting a film adaptation

Some of the biggest hits in horror movie, They are based on Stephen King’s books., now, another work of the author is confirmed to reach the big screen. This is ‘The Regulators’, the chilling novel about a massacre that sets off a terrifying scenario; a story that will hit theaters like a horror movie.

It was originally known that ‘The Regulators’ was written by Richard Bachman; but shortly after the release of him it was just a pseudonym used by Stephen King to publish some books of him and although they are not as highly regarded as the ones he launched on the market under his original name, they have also managed to have a little success.

It is now confirmed that 26 years after its release, “The Regulators” is the next work by the author of “IT” as well, to have a film adaptation. The horror film will be directed by George Cowan of the Bohemia Group and will work side-by-side with Justin Ross in the production area.

The Deadline portal was the one who made it known that ‘Stephen King’s The Regulators is getting a film adaptation and also, he shared what the author thought his work wanted to have a big screen adaptation more than twenty years after he launched it to the market to make it a best seller.

The terrifying story of “The Regulators”

Richard Bachman’s book ‘The Regulators’ tells the story of a neighborhood that is plunged into terror when the sun sets on a given day and a carnage is unleashed by someone in a van driving past the place. Although this episode will be only the first of many that this community will have to face from that moment on.

The story of this novel and, soon, of a film, is set in the times of the old west with a touch of science fiction and horror that harmonizes somewhat with Jordan Peele’s ‘No’ with Daniel Kaluuya.
