Damon Lindelof, showrunner of “Lost” or “Watchmen”, spoke in a speech about the endless production of films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He did it on the Into It podcast, where he claimed to have a certain preference for the finals, thus positioning himself in a totally opposite way to the strategy pursued by Marvel Studios.

However, Lindelof recognized the complexity of abandoning successful production: “It will always be difficult because once you have someone’s attention, you want to keep it.. From a slightly more cynical point of view, this is business. It is an industry. And if you make a couple of great Marvel movies, the instinct is to make more Marvel movies and expand it.”.
On the other hand, Lindelof acknowledged that while he behaves differently, he doesn’t miss any Marvel movies.: “I wish they did less because it would make every one of those that came out a little bit more special. But then I see them all. … People don’t want things to end.”.
Marvel will not step on the brakes
Regardless of these kinds of opinions, the UCM will not take your foot off the accelerator. With the premiere next November of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, the television release of “She-Hulk” and the Christmas special of “Guardians of the Galaxy”, there will be a total of 7 different Marvel episodes in 2022.
