Dave Battista is looking to star in a new movie project for Netflix titled Wild. The film will be directed by Jeff Tomsic (LABEL) from a script written by Blockers scribes Jim And Brian Kehoe.
Bautista is in talks to star and produce the film in which he will play “a police officer who is the best friend of a canine companion who can sniff out any crime. When Boomer dies on the job, the cop no longer promises dog companions until he joins Zeus.
Bautista starring in a cop and dog movie seems to make perfect sense. Most people love dog movies, so there’s a good chance a movie like this with Bautista’s involvement will be a big hit for Netflix.
The Kehoes created the animated series Futa Mucka, starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson. They have also worked on many other projects including Double blame with Rebellious Wilson plays a former tennis phenomenon who tries to recover from a McEnroe-style breakdown by training a young player to carry a flamethrower into the sport. They even scripted Fortune keya remake of the Korean film of the same name, starring Marlon Wayans.
