Here’s a teaser trailer for the upcoming indie horror comedy Teddy told me. The movie tells a story of Halloween Haunt and villain Teddy is from the 2011 SyFy makeup reality series with special effects Face to face. Teddy told me too it’s a throwback to classic slasher movies and feels like a fun, bloodthirsty movie that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
The story follows a couple of weeds who have decided to resurrect a closed Halloween haunt with a bloody past. “When Danny and Zoe (Topher Hansson And Kamarra Cole) decide to buy a deceased old haunted attraction, think they will have fun and earn some money. After meeting with real estate agent Jan (Lisa Wilcox), and gardener Ron (CJ Graham), they discover that the property has a bloody past. They audition and hire a full cast of hangout actors who work together to bring the old hangout back to life. Ron’s brother scares the gang with his story of a family tragedy, the origin of the bear-masked killer “Teddy” (Jason Wallace), and the first murder that took place in the haunt. On opening night, the ghosts and crowds stand no chance as Teddy returns to his old stomping spot for more blood.
The film was shot by the director Tom DevlinMonster Museum of Boulder City, Nevada. Develin said in a statement: “As a longtime fan of horror films, especially slasher films, I felt it was time to tell my story which is a throwback to the fun slasher films of my youth. I wanted to make a film. that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but works well on a scary October night or a fun summer sleepover. We’ve filled it with gory effects, colorful characters, and the obligatory 3 B’s. It’s a love letter not just for the films that inspired me – and their punk rock ethic, but also to the weeds of the world, and let’s hope it’s a good time! ”
There is no release date for this movie yet. Visit the Devlin Monster Museum website for more information.
