At the end of Marvel’s Eternal, ended with the caption that The Eternals would return. So, we all know a Eternal the sequel is coming, we don’t know when. Patton Oswaltwho appeared in the film’s post-credits scene as Pip, recently offered an update on the sequel as he appeared on Today.
He shared that the director of the film, Chloe Zhaowill return to direct, and that he and Harry Styles will return as Pip and Starfox. Here’s what he said:
“They have announced that there will be a sequel to Eternals and Chloe Zhao will direct it. So hopefully there will be more adventures of Starfox and Pip.”
Eternal it’s one of my least favorite Marvel movies. There were so many ridiculous things that bothered me. I’ve seen it one and a half times and I don’t think I’ll ever see it again. it was just a missed opportunity to do something incredibly epic. I can only hope the sequel tells a better and more interesting story.
It would be great if the next film involved Galactus. Eterni screenwriters Ryan And Kaz Firpo had previously been inquired about some Marvel fan theories about how a sequel film might involve Galactus and, according to Kaz Firpo, “the door is very open for world-eaters villains. Galactus is a fantastic and fantastic character and a villain. We are, you know, obviously setting the stage for intergalactic, cosmic and megalithic confrontations, especially when you kill a space god, and then the space god comes and kidnaps you and plans to judge the Earth, I think the door is very open for the world-eating villains … Galactus is one of those iconic figures from the Marvel Universe that [they’re] excited to see “.
He went on to say, “Galactus is one of those iconic figures from the Marvel Universe we’re thrilled to see. But sometimes I think you leave yourself open, you leave these doors open and who knows what’s going on in number two. Maybe you’re too busy saving. a Celeste from Galactus to end up running into his [wrath]… everything is possible.”
There are no details on what the sequel will entail, but I’m just interested in seeing the Pip and Starfox story arc. What do you think?
