
Oscar nominee Sean Astin he is best known for his roles over the decades that include The Goonies, Rudi, The Lord of the Rings, and many others. Now it joins Matteo Modine in the next cycling drama Difficult miles. The couple recently entered Stranger things together, but I don’t think they shared scenes. RJ Daniel Hanna is directing from a script written in collaboration with Christian Sander.
Includes an additional cast for indie Cynthia Kaye McWilliams (The last days of Ptolemy Gray), Leslie David Baker (The office), Jahking Guillory (On my block), Jackson Kelly (Ultraviolet and black scorpio), Damien Diaz (Marvel’s Fugitives), And Zach T. Robbins (Blood line).

Modine plays Greg Townsend, who has led the Ridge View team for the past 30 years, as previously announced. Astin will play the benevolent local mechanic of a Speedy bike shop, with McWilliams as Ridgeview Haddie’s imposing but empathetic youth advisor, Baker as besieged facility manager Skip Bowman, and Guillory, Jelly, Diaz and Robbins as members. of the cycling team.
Sounds like an interesting sports movie. Difficult miles is currently in production.
