Yesterday we learned that Warner Bros. is being sold out Bad girland they will not distribute the film in any format. This is a crazy decision to make as they spent $ 90 million on it! The studio has since released an official statement which you can read below:
“The decision not to release Batgirl reflects the strategic shift in our leadership in relation to the DC universe and HBO Max. Leslie Grace is an incredibly talented actress and this decision does not reflect her performance. We are incredibly grateful to the makers of Batgirl and Scoob! Holiday meeting place and their respective cast and we hope to collaborate with everyone again in the near future. “
So the movie simply didn’t fit the standard they’re trying to have with DC movies from here on out under the new studio guidance. It’s still a crazy decision! There is a lot of work, money and talent to make the film! It seems such a waste. Now I also wonder what they will do The flash. Could it be shelved due to all the drama surrounding Ezra Miller? The study made it clear that they don’t really know what to do with it.
As you know, Michael Keaton he had to appear in the film as Batman Bad girl, and we have some details on how it would fit into the film. This news comes from ViewerAnona reputable member with Warner Bros. knowledge. He said Keaton would only appear in five scenes in Bad girl. He shared:
“He meets Barbara twice in costume, first on the street telling her not to, then in one of those big Tim Burton towers where he helps her with something she needs. The last scene of the film saw them join and dive from a gargoyle to fly around Gotham. “
“She didn’t train Barbara, she just dressed up as Batman for a Halloween party, stopped some terrorists and changed her costume to become a superhero. She meets Barbara twice in costume, first on the street telling her not to, then in one of those big Tim Burton towers where he helps her with something she needs. “
Bad girl it would end with the two hooded crusaders “who teamed up and dived from a gargoyle to fly around Gotham.”
I am curious about this film and now I want to watch it just to see why the studio decided to abandon it. All I can think is that it must have been a shit movie.
