In recent years, Hollywood horror is no longer the only one in the spotlight, and instead many foreign horror films have won fans around the world. And now, we leave you some of the best things you can see on Netflix.

Hexadecimal

Registered as a mockumentary, we ‘Hexadecimal’, a horror movie made in china, which surprised those who have already dared to see it with more than a fright. The story follows Li Ronan, who broke a taboo six years ago, and was cursed, and is now haunted by an entity she must protect her daughter from.

the cursed bridge

Also produced in Taiwan, we have ‘the cursed bridge’, a Chinese horror movie on Netflixin which a group of students wants to verify the truthfulness of an ancient urban legend that says that if they cross a bridge where a woman took her own life, the spirit will follow them at midnight.

Hospital

We conclude the Chinese productions with ‘Hospital’, a supernatural horror film about a wife and sister of a nurse who pay two priests to communicate with relatives of the deceased in an allegedly haunted hospital. Available on Netflix.

Voyage

Moving away from ghosts and paranormal horror, we have “The Journey”, a black comedy thriller, produced in Norway, starring Noomi Rapace. The story follows a couple who embark on a journey to restore their marriage, with the intention of killing each other, but are unaware that the others have the same intentions.

Veronica

From director Paco Plaza, famous for premiering the hit “REC”, we now have “Veronica”, a Spanish horror film available on Netflix inspired by the real case of a young woman who conjured an evil spirit that ended her life of one of his relatives.

His home

We finally have one of the acclaimed foreign horror films of recent years’His home’, a UK film, starring Sope Dirisu, Wunmi Mosaku and Matt Smith of’ House of the Dragon. The story follows a refugee couple who survive in a small town, but their past haunts them.
