Swedish developer Pixadome and publisher Curve Games recently announced the side scrolling fighting game titled Club Chenso will be launched on September 1st. The game has a really fun art style that looks great fun, especially if you have a friend to play with in local co-op. Additionally, the game will be available on PC and major consoles at a decent price.
Chenso Club is an action-packed arcade-style game, with an all-female cast of cute, colorful and deadly girls turned into fighters. Fans can play alone or co-op on the couch with friends and choose from one of five playable protagonists, each with distinctive skills, moves and combos to suit their personal play style. In an ode to arcade-style side-scrolling fighting games, players will punch, jump, slash and battle their way through hordes of enemy aliens to level up and save the world.

Chenso Club is a love letter to arcade-style side scrolling fighting games. We liked the idea of making a heroine game with anime girls and were inspired by 90’s cartoons like The Powerpuff Girls. I love how violent that show is, but it’s still cute and charming at the same time, and that’s really the vibe we were looking for with the Chenso Club. We can’t wait for people to come in and play it!
