The second season of Netflix’s live-action retelling of the popular animated series Winx Club, Destiny: The Winx saga it’s not that far. It was recently announced that the season will premiere with seven episodes on September 16 via Netflix. Fans can expect to see Paulina Chávez make your appearance as the land fairy Flora, Miranda Richardson will be Principal Rosalind, and Daniel Betts will play Professor Harvey. They join the returning cast of Abigail Cowen like Bloom, Hannah van der Westhuysen like Stella, Precious Mustafa like Aisha, Eliot goes up like Earth, and Elisha Applebaum like Musa.
The school is back in session under the militant authority of the former director of Alfea, Rosalind. With the Burned Ones gone, Dowling “gone” and Silva imprisoned for treason, last year’s Alfea grew up with new magic, new love stories and new faces. But when the fairies begin to disappear into the night, Bloom and her suite mates discover a dangerous threat lurking in the shadows. One that they will have to stop before it devastates the entire Otherworld.
