Taron Egerton is best known for his roles in The Kingsman film series, as well as the biopic Rocket man, in which he played music icon Elton John. She is currently in the dark thriller Black bird on Apple TV +, and has a few more iron in the fire, namely the movie Tetriswhich should be out later this year, as well as the remake of the musical The little shop of horrorsin which he will play Seymour.
He has had a solid career so far and proved to be a solid actor, but it turns out he almost played another iconic role.
During a new interview with Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused podcast (via CB), Egerton talked about his upcoming audition process for Han Solo in the film Solo: a Star Wars story:
“I’ll be honest: I got on the Falcon. I was with Chewie. I was in a full suit … And there was another … there was another round [of auditions] which I decided not to do. And it’s far enough in the past now that I feel I can tell. I hope no one feels bothered by the fact that I said that. “
Actually I think Alden Ehrenreich he did a good job in the role, but the film didn’t do very well at the box office, so maybe it was a good move for Egerton. Do you think she could have brought something different to the role that you would have liked more? Let us know below.
