What is the new film ‘Prey’ about?

The prequel to the “Predator” saga is set 300 years before the arrival of the Yautja who appeared in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s film, in which Amber Midthunder gives birth to Naru ‘Prey’, a warrior from a Comanche tribe facing one of the alien hunters.

Along with Amber Midthunder, the rest of the cast of ‘Prey’ is native, as director Dan Trachtenberg (The Boys, 10 Cloverfield Lane) wanted to best represent the history of the Comanche tribe, as he also identifies himself as part of this community.

In the story of “Prey”, Naru is a young warrior who wants to be part of the defenders of her tribe, even if only men can be. Although, with the arrival of a Predator, she will be her excuse to show off her courage and fighting prowess.
