Deadline caught with actor Joey King at the premiere of David Leitch’s new action thriller FAST TRAIN.
When asked about working at Netflix ugly things King said on the red carpet: “It was very exciting for me. ugly things Books meant a lot when I was a kid.” He continues, “To be able to shoot this and act in these movies and have so much fun doing it, what a dream come true! I was 11 years old when I fell in love with books.”

ugly things Adapted from a dystopian trilogy of books written by Scott Westerfield, the film takes place in a world where a 16-year-old boy’s forced surgery eliminates physical differences and beautifies everyone by conforming to ideal beauty standards. Sources say King has been a long-time fan of the series and brought it to Netflix: He called them, read the script and the book, and then King gave Netflix the option. McGee will direct the movie.
