Warner Bros Discovery, Warnermedia and the United Kingdom Corporate Senior Senior Asif Sadiq appointed the company’s global diversity, equality and inclusion director.
The company said that it is a “Creative Diversity Council” aiming to develop & I principles with recruitment managers and blending in production and distribution. Warner Bros. Chairman of the Television Group Channing Dungey; Warner Bros. Film group CEOs Pamela Abdi and Mike Deluca; HBO and HBO Max Content Responsible Casey Blos; and Kathleen Finch, the company’s content head of the company’s US Network Group.
Sadiq will jointly report to Adria Alpert Rome, CEO David Zaslav and Zaslav’s assistant during his career, and now the chief human and culture responsible of WBD.
Since April 2021, Sadiq has been the senior vice president of the DEI in London -based Warnermedia. He played a similar role in Adidas and also worked at Telegraph Media Group, O Financial Services and London Police.
In his new position, Sadiq will lead the WBD’s new advisory council, a senior advisory board consisting of global leaders of sports, games, technology, income and company groups. The Council will promote the development and implementation of diversity programs for employees in various businesses.
