We’re about to see the actor Will Poulter bring to life the role of Adam Warlock in the comics in the highly anticipated final chapter of Guardians of the Galaxy saga, which will be released in theaters next year. With characters like Warlock, who people know from comics, it’s hard to bring that character to life.

In the comics, Adam Warlock is created by scientists on earth as an artificial and perfect human being. Last week at Comic-Con, Poulter spoke to ScreenRant about his Warlock on the red carpet and the direction he and Gunn have decided to take it, stating:

“The first thing to face is that I’m far, far from perfect. I think one of the interesting things about this character is that James definitely allowed me to explore Adam’s imperfections as well, while he gets his bearings. It’s in his childhood of him at this point in the story, so he’s really trying [orient] himself in this world as actually a newborn ”.

Director James Gunn previously talked about the character in which we will see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, stating that the film’s version is “our version of Adam”. Gunn has considerable experience in making these characters complex, yet recognizable at the same time, and I can’t wait to see how they bring him to life. Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 will be released in theaters on May 5, 2023.
