Here are some of the early concept art for Marvel Studios Lady Marvel which offers a look at some alternative designs for Kamala Khan’s mask. The concept art comes from concept artist and illustrator Mushk Rizvi and there are a lot of fun and interesting ideas here. According to Rizvi, these were the first concepts for what Kamala could have used for the masks before getting his final option. The artist says:
Some older versions of #kamalakhan and its #msmarvel masks on #disneyplus. These were made for what he could use before getting his real mask. Portraits are always the fun part for me. I can take portraits all day, provided they are a bit stylized <.>I love my anime!
I liked the character costume design that was used on the show, but it’s always nice to see some of the other options we could have seen.
