Taron Egerton (Kingsman, Rocket man) found his next feature-length project with the action thriller Amblin / Netflix Continueby the director Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan, Jungle cruise, Black Adam). TJ Fixman wrote the first draft of the script, with Michael Green doing the latest update. The film marks the first production to exit Amblin’s global deal with Netflix last June.
“The thriller centers on Ethan Kopek, a young TSA agent who is blackmailed by a mysterious traveler into passing a dangerous package through security and boarding a flight on Christmas Day.”
It sounds like a great project for everyone involved! Egerton can currently be seen in the Apple TV + series Blackbirdand will star in the film Tetris on the legal battles that took place during the Cold War over ownership of the game, which will be out later this year.
