
A new first photo, clip and poster have been released from the upcoming series Marvel’s The Moon Girl and the Devil Dinosaur. The show “follows the adventures of 13-year-old super genius Lunella Lafayette and his 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur. After Lunella accidentally brought the Devil Dinosaur into modern-day New York City via a time vortex, the two work together to protect the city’s Lower East Side from harm.
Lunella is voiced by White diamondand is flanked by Alfred Woodard like the voice of Lunella Mimi’s grandmother, Liberation Barer like her best friend / manager Casey, Sasheer Zamata like his mother Adria, Jermaine Fowler like his father James Jr., Gary Anthony Williams as his grandfather Pops and executive producer Laurence Fishburne like The Beyonder, described as “a curious and mischievous cheater”.
Recurring stars include Omid Abtahi (The Mandalorian), Utkarsh Ambudkar (Ghosts), Michele Cimino (With love, Vittorio), India Moore (Pose), And Craig Robinson (The office).
Guest stars have also been announced for the season and include Alison Brie (INCANDESCENCE), Andy Cohen (Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen), Daveed Diggs (Broadway Hamilton), Maya Hawke (Stranger things), Jennifer Hudson (Respect), Cliff “The Man of the Method” Smith (Power Book II: Ghost), Cobie Smulder (how I Met Your Mother), And Wesley Snipe (Lama trilogy).
