During this weekend’s Comic-Con, Marvel Studios shared the very first footage of the upcoming film Ant-Man and the Vespa: Quntumania, and it was truly spectacular! While that footage hasn’t been released online, the studio has released an exclusive Comic-Con poster for you to check out!
This poster was created by artist Andy Park and features Scott Lang’s Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne’s The Wasp (Evangeline Lilli) in the multiverse with daughter Cassie Lang (Catherine Newton) and they are all dressed up in their costumes. Cassie’s purple dress is based on comic book designs and her superhero name is Stinger. You will also notice that her sneakers are in place of her boots. Then, of course, there’s Kang (Jonathan Majors) looming in the background.
It will be a lot of fun to see a movie set in the Quantum Realm! There is so much to explore and it looks like they will do a lot of fun stuff! Some of the things that the trailer we saw shows is Bill Murray, which was great! He was a quick hit, but his character is in the Quantum Realm.
The trailer also confirms that MODOK is a villain in the movie! There is a quick shot of him and he has a crazy metallic look. I’ve always wondered what Marvel would do with this live-action character, and now we’ll see! MODOK’s appearance was great, though!
The trailer also focuses on Scott Lang bragging about saving the world and even written a book about it. There is a device in the trailer that Lang is playing with and opens a portal where Cassie is sucked into the Quantum Realm. Scott, Hope, Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michele Douglas) also end up in the Quantum Realm. That’s where they meet Bill Murray’s character who appears to have had some sort of relationship with Janet.
This movie is going to be a crazy and hilarious ride! Can’t wait to watch it!
