The company of Paramount + has planned the development of 150 international series and films which will be released between now and 2025 and among these stands out a production that will resume the complicated love story between former drug trafficker Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán and Emma Coronel.

Paramount + recently revealed The Hollywood reporter that the streaming services company had a goal to develop at least 150 original series from Germany, Italy, France and Mexicowhich are the only countries confirmed to work with the streaming platform.

Originally, the digital platform had the green light for only 50 original international productions by 2022 and some of them have already been released, as in the case of “Los Enviados”, with Luis Gerardo Méndez, Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Irene Azuela. But now the landscape has changed and the company plans to expand its contents both in terms of quantity and diversity of origin.
