It all started with a controversial thread on Reddit, where many industry workers complained about the exploitation they were subjected to by the Disney-owned company. This escalated further when Taika Waititi and Tessa Thompson, director and actress of ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, laughed at the result of the visual effects in one of the film’s scenes. We don’t know if this controversy will cause more actors and actresses to move away from Marvel and its way of working, but what is clear is that it is a real headache for the House of Ideas..
