The Beacon Hills universe expands. Since “Teen Wolf” wrapped up after six seasons in 2017, its creator, Jeff Davis, has expressed interest in continues the franchise with new series and movies. And five years later, those plans are starting to materialize, and in a big way.
Paramount, owner of the saga, has entrusted Davis with the development of new titles derived from the MTV teen series, and on Friday 21 July the two we had already confirmed were presented during the ‘Teen Wolf’ panel at Comic-featuring of San Diego: the long-awaited film, which will see the return of almost all of the original cast (except Dylan O’Brien, we will miss you so much, Stiles) and already has its first teaser; Y the “Wolf Pack” spin-off series, based on the books by Edo Van Belkom.
Little was known about the latter, but we already know who will be the actress who will lead the cast, and it is none other than Sarah Michelle Gellar, the same Buffy Summers. “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” actress joins the series to be part of the cast and will also act as a producer on the fiction.
According to the official synopsis released exclusively by Deadline, ‘Wolf Pack’ is the story of two teenagers whose lives change forever when A devastating fire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature in California. Gellar plays Kristin Ramsey, a renowned investigator who lives with a personal loss and must find the person responsible for the fire.
The series, which has already started shooting, is too written and produced by Davis and, in addition to Gellar, it has a main youth cast consisting of Armani Jackson, Bella Shepard, Chloe Rose Robertson and Tyler Lawrence. Like the movie “Teen Wolf”, “Wolf Pack” will premiere on Paramount +, Paramount’s streaming service in the United States. It is not known which platform or chain will bring it to Spain.
