HBO released the first teaser trailer for Lily-Rose Deppthe next limited series drama series The idolwhich also stars the Grammy winner Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye (Uncut gems). The series is described as “the seediest love story in all of Hollywood”.
The idol is co-created by Sam Levinson (Euphoria), Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye, e Reza Fahim. The story is “Set against the backdrop of the music industry, the series centers on a self-help guru and leader of a modern cult, developing a complicated relationship with an emerging pop idol.”
It really looks like it’s going to be a crazy and wild series! The show is also the protagonist Troy Sivan (Boy deleted), Hari Nef (Transparent), Debby Ryan (Insatiable), Steve Zissi (Solidarity), Rachel Sennot (Bodies Bodies Bodies) and the worldwide superstar of K-Pop Jennie Kim by Blackpink.
The additional cast includes Anne Heche (Grace’s choice), Melanie Liburd (Power Book II: Ghost), Tunde Adebimpe (Spider-Man: Homecoming), Elizabeth Berkley Lauren (Saved by the bell), Nico Hiraga (Smart book), and more.
