The thundering fish is a series of arcade fighting games that has been popular in Japan since 2004. The game’s tournaments are still played, which shows that it still enjoys some popularity. Now, for the first time, audiences outside of Japan will be able to play. 3goo has announced that there will be a worldwide console version of the series in winter 2022. Here is the synopsis of the history of the games:
At the end of the 20th century … A large-scale natural disaster struck the eastern area of a given country. The disaster wiped out the financial sector and caused skyscrapers to collapse over a large area, up to the main functions of the capital. This resulted in the loss of as many as 158,000 lives.
At the dawn of the 21st century … The PROBE-NEXUS Conglomerate, commonly known as Probe, begins its reconstruction efforts in the eastern area of that country. Probe relocates his base of operations to the dilapidated sector and builds a huge city run by the company. Packed with colossal capital and cutting-edge technology, modern Babylon is made up of skyscrapers that put old skyscrapers to shame, the largest shopping mall in the world, and recreational facilities that could be mistaken for a theme park. This was the dazzling birth of a symbol for the new century. It became the most essential place on the planet and was named Zone Prime.
And now, in an undeveloped sector of his western block, there was an area known as the slums …
