In episode 22 of Secret Levellet’s take a dip in the 1989 movie The magician directed by Todd Holland. The film starred Fred Savage, Beau Bridges, Christian Slaterand Nintendo, and was originally launched as “The child of karatebut with video games. ”
This film introduced us to the Power Glove, Super Mario Bros. 3And Jenny Lewis! After the release of this movie, every kid wanted a Power Glove! But that thing was just a very nice looking piece of junk! The main villain in this film was also so uncomfortable around children!
We loved this movie when we were growing up, but damn … it had some super weird moments, especially with the villain and how inappropriate it was! We offer some fun commentary on the film and share some interesting behind-the-scenes details that you may never have heard before. Have a good time!
