One of the things I enjoyed Thor: Love and thunder they were the foolish designs of evil and sinister shadow monsters. Well, it turns out that those monsters were actually designed by the kids involved in the movie!

As you know, the film had a lot of guys and director Taika Waititi explained that the reason is because it made the film look like “just a classic 1980s movie”. Some of the children include Chris Hemsworththe three children Natalie Portmanthe son and daughter of Christian Balethe children, and even one of Waititi’s daughters.

Apparently, all the children who were part of the film were also tasked with creating the drawings for the shadow monsters we see! According to Waititi, this happened when her daughter one day asked what monsters looked like. She told Marvel:

“My daughter was watching me write the script one day and she looked over her shoulder and said, ‘What is a shadow demon?’ I was like, ‘I don’t know.’ And she says, ‘What does he look like?’ So she went and drew one. I thought I was wondering if he was going to be a fantastic monster. And I gave it to the visual development department and they turned it into a fully rendered monster. Then I started asking everyone else in the office. I was like, ask your kids to draw monsters. And then we just had a collection of monsters. So all those monsters that Gorr conjures up, the reason they look so crazy is because they’re all designed by kids.

It’s pretty cool! I love that these guys have the opportunity to draw monsters in the movie! It must have been a great experience for them. In this regard, Bale said:

“We really know which monsters my children’s monsters are. [Taika] they made him draw a lot of sketches, and then the magic of the visual effects guys, they created something monstrous out of that. And, and absolutely, those are identifiable, and it’s very exciting to see.

“Taika was wonderful with that. He created a really family-friendly environment, and everyone was out and about, making friends, playing football and whatnot, and going out. “

Regardless of what you thought of the film, it seems like it was a great film production to be a part of, especially for the kids.
