A group of Disney Channel stars are teaming up for a new horror movie project titled Hello, Cowboy!and this is definitely not a Disney movie.
The cast of the film includes Debby Ryan (Jessie, Life in the suite on the deck), Matthew Scott Montgomery (So casual!), Alyson Stoner (Camp Rock, Zack and Cody’s Suite Life), Kevin Chamberlin (Jessie), Tim Bagley (Shake it !, Raven’s house), Shayne Topp (So random!) And Damien Haas (So casual!).
The film is formatted as a “screenlife” movie, “with all the filming occurring on computer screens. Montgomery plays Benjamin, a millennial young queer actor living in West Hollywood who was once a famous child actor. new neighbor Chase (Grant Jordan) crosses the hall and reveals himself to be a fan, Benjamin begins investigating the strangely familiar man with his best friend Harley (Ryan). “
The horror thriller is directed by Allisyn Snyder (Sonny with a chance, so random!) from a screenplay written by Montgomery. The supporting cast also includes Sterling Sulieman, Adam Faison, Greer Grammer And Kimmy Scudi.
Production of the film is expected to begin by the end of the month. I’m not a real fan of these movies where the story takes place on computer screens, but maybe it will tell a decent story.
