Attention SPOILER!
* This article contains spoilers for volume 2 of the fourth season of “Stranger Things”.
With the arrival of season 4 of “Stranger Things” on Netflix, One of the most loved characters by fans was that of Eddie Munson (played by Joseph Quinn) both on and off the screen.. Inside because she starred in some of the most emotional moments at the end of Volume 2, which came out on July 1st. And it was because Metallica also surrendered to the actor’s charisma and his ability with the guitar to play ‘Master of Puppets’, the theme of the heavy metal group. Given all these displays of affection, Quinn couldn’t help but get excited, and we with him.

We could see it in a video from London Film Comic-Con, which took place last weekend. In it, the actor appears really excited, showing his gratitude to all the fans of the series present there. “We are very grateful, thank you very much” says a fan, to whom the actor, after a few seconds wiping his tears, manages to respond with one “Why did you do that?”.

Joseph Quinn stopped by the Radio Times to talk about how he found out about his character’s death, moments after that epic guitar solo we see in the last episode. “I think the Duffer brothers sent me a message saying they were preparing for something.”commented the actor. “I’m happy that people responded the way they did Eddie, that he misses you is a wonderful thing. There is a lot of devotion to the series and the characters. I think back to characters I’ve loved growing up and I think someone out there feels the same way about a character I’ve played and it seems crazy to me. It’s rewarding and something I never expected to experience. “He added.
Is Eddie’s return possible in Season 5?
The actor has already stated that he has some ideas on how to return to the series. “Joe Keery and I talked about ways he might come back. Maybe it could be Gaten’s imagination or something, if there was room for something a little supernatural. But my suspicion is that Eddie made him what the brothers needed.”. Despite Eddie being devoured by the Vecna bats, in Hawkins’ world anything can happen, and even more so with the beloved mass idol that Munson became, so we couldn’t rule out a return of him until the fifth season premiere.
