Written and directed by Ritchie, the drama follows Tommy (Dallas Dupree Young) whose world is turned upside down when the police break his door and arrest his father. Faced with a fatherless future, Tom escapes Child Protective Services custody on the streets of Los Angeles with his best friends Steve (Mylene Bradford) and O’Neal (Jerryson Machado), is invaded by men trying to rob them, the police chase them. Python, fistfights, first kiss and phone sex. Meanwhile, Tom continues to call 800 because he thinks the woman on the line (Ally Ritchie) is the only adult he can trust. At the end of the night, when they cross the threshold, their brotherhood disintegrates. in adulthood
The adventure film had its world premiere at the Santa Barbara Film Festival last spring and recently won the Audience Award at Fusion Features Dances With Films. Pic is a Halfway Crooks Production with Lexicon/Aloe Entertainment/Sugar Rush Pictures. It is produced by Nick Ritchie, Ali Ritchie, Zach Mann, Nathan Presley, Trevor Lee Georgeson, Phoenix Vaughan, Ben Jagger and Warren Pereira. Mark Mathias Sayre, Adam Merino, Mary Aloe, Andrea Bucco, Ryan Isaacson, Jason Marzano, Chai Mann and Joey Mann serve as executive producers.
