Disney Establishes International Content Strategy Role for Kristen Finney

Disney has hired a former executive of Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution and DMED to lead its international content strategy in EMEA, LatAm, Asia Pacific and India.

Kristen Finn assumes the newly created position as Content Curator and Vice President of Disney’s International Content and Operations (IC&O) Group, reporting to Rebecca Campbell, Head of International Content and Operations.

Finney will oversee the content strategy in all regions for both Disney+ and Star adult verticals, along with linear channels acting as a central hub for international content acquisition information, cross-region licensing opportunities, content listings and referrals.

You will also support and work closely with each regional content team.

Finney said, “IC&O’s regional teams are creating a truly impressive and entertaining ingredient list, and I look forward to strategic opportunities as we aggressively expand these local offerings around the world.

He joins DMED where he is vice president of content distribution strategy and development and is a former vice president of Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution.
