The Flavor Girls are a group of magical heroes who must defend the world from aliens. Their powers come from the Earth and the Mother Tree and when turned on they tend to have fruit and vegetable names. This is the most basic understanding I have for the next comic series Girls of taste. The series was recently announced by BOOM! Studios will launch through their Archaia footprint and is written and illustrated by the creator Loïc Locatelli-Kournwsky (Persephone) with the colors of Eros de Santiago. The series looks very funny as someone who is a fan of Sailor Moon, Power Rangersand more similar properties.
Naoko, Camille and V are the GIRLS OF TASTE of Dragon Fruit, Pomegranate and Artichoke, the Guardians of the Land of the Sacred Fruit! They defend the Mother Tree, the source of their power, from the threat of ever looming aliens, who landed twelve years ago and whose motives for the planet are still unknown …
Sara is a young woman who studies to become an international peacekeeping force until one day she is involved in an alien attack. In the midst of battle, she is chosen by the Mother Tree as the last GIRL OF FLAVORS with the sacred duty of defending the Earth and all of her inhabitants. There’s just one problem … she has never fought an alien in her life and she has no idea what she is doing. Will she figure out her powers and her place on the team in time to help save the world?
