Armie Hammer has disappeared from public life since disturbing allegations began to emerge in early 2021 of several women who related the actor to cannibalistic tendencies, aggression and even rape. Although his team denied everything, Hammer started losing several projects he was confirmed for and movies like “Death on the Nile” delayed their release a lot to try to avoid the wave of bad press.
Since cannibalism wasn’t surreal enough, a rumor has surfaced on the internet in the last few hours that he was caught working as a concierge at Morritt’s Resort in the Cayman Islands. It all started with the tweet from Muna Mire, a TV producer, in which he shared a hotel flyer that featured a photo of Armie Hammer offering her services as a concierge to the parents of a friend of Mire’s, such as searching for restaurants or excursions, some with exclusive discounts. You can even see a “love, Armie” on the document, just below the photo. Muna Mire later posted a conversation on WhatsApp in which her friend’s mother confirmed that her goalkeeper was Armie Hammer and that “her life had fallen apart during COVID”.

While this fantasy would fit quite well with the actor’s bizarre “Call Me by Your Name” story, unfortunately it is nothing more than a fantasy. Hammer’s attorney confirmed to Variety that Armie Hammer does not work at the hotel, but has stayed on a few occasions and is friends with some employees, and that the flyer posted on Twitter is fake. Apparently, some employees of the resort decided to leave the flyer in various rooms to see what would happen. The Internet has already done the rest.. Tweets with the flyer have been deleted.
The last time we saw Armie Hammer in a movie was in “Death on the Nile”, a sequel to “Murder on the Orient Express”. The actor had roles in “Shotgun Wedding” with Jennifer Lopez, in the Paramount + series “The Offer” on filming “The Godfather” and “Billion Dollar Spy”. You have lost all three projects.
