Taika Waititi invited Natalie Portman to her movie “Star Wars” but she forgot a little thing

According to information from Rolling Stone magazine, the director Taika Waititi invited the actress from ‘Thor: Love and thunder’ to be part of your movie ‘Star Wars’, not mentioning that Natalie Portman had already appeared in the prequel trilogy of the franchise. And so the director recalled.

Natalie asked me ‘what are you going to do next? I told him ‘I’m going to try to work on a’ Star Wars’ thing. Have you ever wanted to appear in a ‘Star Wars’ movie?’ She said to me, “I’ve already appeared in the ‘Star Wars’ movies. I forgot about those.”

Despite Taika Waititi’s awkward moment with Natalie Portman, the New Zealand director recently confirmed that his “Star Wars” movie is having some complications, as he didn’t have much fun finishing the script, even questioning its continuation.

Furthermore, the director said that for this project Lucasfilm wants everything to go perfectly, and this is a great responsibility: “I think the Taika of 10 years ago would have panicked and would have been very nervous. And he added: “I don’t want to take the leap without feeling that it’s unique, that it’s my film and that it makes sense. Because it would be a disaster. I am writing it. I’ll do my best to get an idea that everyone likes. ”And finally, he said that his story of him doesn’t want to be connected to the Skywalker Saga.
