Friday, July 8, the eighth and final episode of the third season of “The Boys” arrives on Amazon Prime Video. The streaming platform released a short trailer of just thirty seconds in which the tension is palpable in the face of an inevitable confrontation between the various parts.
On the Supers side we have Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell) sharpening his sword, in front of his possible cross with Soldier Boy. “No matter how many times you sharpen it, you won’t be able to get through its skin” Patriot (Antony Starr) tells him, with much less bravado than we are used to. He shows that this time he is afraid.
Especially those who don’t deserve it
Guys are no better. They also seem defeatists, but Hughie (Jack Quaid) reminds them that they are “they save everyone, even those who don’t deserve it. Especially those who don’t deserve it”. Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) raises his shield, but we can’t see who he is against.
This season of the series was marked by the arrival of this parody of Captain America, who had been waiting for decades to be awakened in a laboratory. Obviously, Cap would have passed out on hearing the bad words Soldier Boy is able to say. We also witnessed scenes of the goriest, octopus sex and the extolled orgy known as Erogasm. “The Boys” has been renewed for a fourth season, so we’ll see which cliffhangers he leaves us with in the third next July 8th.
