Genndy Tartakovskij’S Primordial it’s one hell of a tough animated series! The first season was brutally awesome and I was looking forward to the return of the show! HBO Max has released a teaser trailer for season 2 and gives us a first look at the next chapter in the wild prehistoric series!
Next season will continue Spear and Fang’s journey, and as you will see, they will have to face some dark, weird and sinister villains.
The half-hour animated show is set in prehistoric times and centers on a “caveman at the dawn of evolution” and a “dinosaur on the brink of extinction”. The two characters are linked by a tragedy and “this unlikely friendship becomes the only hope of survival in a violent and primordial world”.
With suspense, heartbreak, excitement, love and fear all without a single word of dialogue, the series is a painting that comes to life, relying solely on music and graphic imagery to tell the story of two unlikely allies as they navigate a treacherous world. After joining unfortunate tragedies, they seem to become each other’s only hope of survival against a common enemy.
It looks like Season 2 will see Spear and Fang work together to save Mira from the villain Scorpion. Mira is a human character from an advanced civilization who was introduced in the Season 1 finale.
