The Netflix servers could not resist the expectations that were there with the last two chapters of the fourth season of “Stranger Things”. The streaming platform launched volume 2 of what will be the penultimate season of the series created by Ross and Matt Duffer on Friday 1 July, and shortly after the arrival of the two chapters, Netflix stopped working.

Users of the platform switched to Twitter amidst fear and anger because they could not watch the chapters from 9:00 (Spanish time). According to Variety, Downdetector.com has collected more than 15,000 complaints related to Netflix access problems at that time.
The platform is active again and apparently without problems, lasting the “blackout” less than half an hour. But it’s a first indication that the fourth season of “Stranger Things” will break all view records with the last two chapters, which also have an extra long duration of nearly an hour and a half and about two and a half hours. respectively.
Recording of accumulated hours
So far, Volume 1 of the fourth season had managed to break the record for the most accumulated hours of an English series on the platform with 781 million hours in just over 15 days (again according to Netflix data). In its first 28 days it did 930 million hours, so it was unable to beat the spectacular 1.6 billion hours ‘The Squid Game’ amassed in its first 28 days.. We will see what result these last two chapters achieve. We have already seen them and now you can read our opinion without spoilers.
