Amazon has released a teaser trailer for their next science fiction series Paper girlswhich is a serial adaptation of the Brian K. Vaughan And Chiang Cliff comic series. It sounds like a pretty interesting series, the story of which centers around four teenage girls from 1988 who end up time traveling to the year 2019, where they come face to face with their future self.
The synopsis reads: “It is the day after Halloween in 1988 when four young friends accidentally stumble upon an intense time war and find themselves inexplicably transported into the year 2019. When they come face to face with themselves as adults, every girl is there. he discovers his strengths as together they try to find a way back to the past while saving the world of the future.
I haven’t read the comic, but I’ve heard from those who have read it that it’s great and that it should be a great series. I like what I see from this trailer so far and can’t wait to see it.
The series is the protagonist Sofia Rosinsky, Camryn Jones, Riley Lai NeletAnd Fina Strazzawith Ali Wong And Nate Corddry.
The Paper girls series was created by Stefania Folsom (writer on Toy Story 4, Star Wars Resistance, LOTR: The Rings of Power), and Amazon will release the series on Prime Video starting July 29, 2022.
