‘Sonic The Hedgehog 2’ Review: Overlong Insta-Sequel Provides Plenty of Crazy Action for Franchise Fans

That was just two years ago, a month before they closed. sonic hedgehog Do you go out to the upstairs theaters alone when most have to be closed? Who knows how high it might fly, but it’s still a record holder for adapting this type of video game movie. Paramount could clearly understand that the audience had a world of fast blue hedgehogs and characters that could continue to emerge from the popular Sega Genesis console game, but for this vibrant hybrid, the instant sequel in just two years is pretty remarkable. Action/animation format.

Director Jeff Fowler is used to the pressure, but having gone through hell after an early trailer for the original film has caused concern online about Sonic’s visual appearance and prompted the film to re-instrument before its release. This time, with a fixed, locked and loaded formula, the crew was able to move at the same pace as their main characters.

As for the results, it’s an artistic opportunity. But for the attention of fans, the filmmakers are throwing more at the wall, and judging by the reaction from the press review I attended, the kids will continue to eat it even with a very generous two-hour run. Hour. No, this Lon must have been a long time ago.

Also, the plot as it stands is pretty standard. Hero Sonic (voiced by Ben Schwartz) joins forces with his two-tailed yellow deer tails (Collin O’Shaughnessy) in a game of good versus evil to defeat the desired wizard Emerald and protect him from the evil Doctor’s control. Robotnik (also Jim Carrey). The latter is seen at the beginning of the movie on a captive mushroom planet, but fear not, nasty fans: Will Find a way back to Earth and screw it up.

The evil doctor connects the bug (Idris Elba), who only has the right to get the emerald and does not stop at nothing – the robot immediately decides to use it for world domination. And the race continues.

Meanwhile, Sonic is back in Green Hills, Montana, the equally dutiful teenage son of Tom (James Marsden) and his wife Maddie (Tika Samper). Granted, this is a rather unusual parent/hedgehog relationship, but let’s move on. The trouble begins when Sonic stays at home while Tom and Maddie travel to Hawaii and his cousin Rachel (the kidnapper Natasha Rotwell) prepares many items for the Four Seasons Oahu for her wedding, but you can bet the blue boy and his friend Tayles. They got into a lot of trouble before they started traveling to save the world. Emphasis comes when they are literally If you ruin the wedding, all hell breaks loose. The bride-to-be’s ring is the mainstay here, and Tom has his own big moment in this relationship. AND The arrival of a confused “son”. It all leads to a scary, adventurous, CGI-laden ending, but stick to the credits as you laugh at the popular post-franchise character. STH 3. And there is no doubt that the sequel Sonic will be on its way at lightning speed.

The world of “Sonic The Hedgehog”, Sega and Paramount’s Paramount +

As for the live action characters. While Marsden and Sampter make a beautiful couple in Hawaii, Kerry seems incredibly fond of playing the villainous villain, if not the Grinch. Adam Paul is back for hilarious interludes as Wade Whipley from the Sheriff’s Department, while Shemar Moore is Rachel’s suspected fiancé. The animation here is perfectly put together, and Schwartz gives the title star as well as the O’Shavens Tails and the Elbe in full at all times as the current default. Authors: Pat Casey, Josh Miller and John Whittington. Producers Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, Toru Nakahara, Hitoshi Okuno. Paramount will be released on April 8th.
