New trailer for Gugu Mbatha-Raw SURFACE’s psychological thriller series on Apple TV +

Apple TV + has released the trailer for their psychological thriller series Surfacehero Gugu Mbatha-Raw (The morning show). The eight-episode first season “is set in San Francisco and follows Sophie (Mbatha-Raw), a woman who recently suffered a head injury that left her with extreme memory loss, believed to be the result of a suicide attempt. As Sophie embarks on a quest to put the pieces of her life back together with the help of her husband and her friends, she begins to wonder if the truth she has been told is actually the truth she has lived. .

Mbatha-Raw joins the cast from Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Stefano Giacomo, Ari Graynor, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Francois ArnaudAnd Millie Brady. The series was created and written by Veronica West, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer. Mbatha-Raw is also executive producer along with Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter and Sam Miller. The series is directed by Miller, Kevin Sullivan, Jennifer Morrison and Tucker Gates.
